2000 2.2 A/T unknown bracket "HELP" w/picture
I'm close to crankin up the new (remanned) 2.2 and have a bracket left over. It looks kind of important so I thought I'd ask before putting it in the "extra parts" bucket. I got this truck partially dis-assembled. The original engine spun a rod bearing and was deemed a goner and left in pieces so that's how I got it. I put a header and a cold air intake on it. The throttle body was behind the seat with a few bolts and the box that attaches to the TB was missing, hence the CAI. I also rebuilt the Transmission.

Sometimes extra things gets mixed up with your parts. If a part no on it have your GM parts man run it threw his parts machine and see if anything shows up from part no. Or catch one of the Good wrench tech there and see if he can help. If you do not have a buddie with one like yours. Sometimes going to your used car dealer and looking at a S-10 like yours will solve the mistery. Good Luck Let us know how it goes.

Bolts to the front of the valve cover and the air box that connects to the throttle body bolts to it and it is upside down in the picture

Thanks Doc! The TB and valve cover were off when I got the truck so I don't feel too stupid.
