99 Sliverado,Help with changing or updating computer software.

Hello,
Wanted some info on what hardware and software I need to update my truck computer software. Wanted to change my shift points and some other little things, along with a general software update. Could some of you carrier racer gear head help me out. Where do I start.

I have not used this equipment but I have talked to owners that have ...they say it does offer better performance and this is adjustable for what YOU may wish to change. also this has a forum with great help from those with this product..

I do not in any way agree that this should be done ..you could if you screw up , damage the vehicle.. be very careful and study much about this before entering this arena...http://www.diablosport.com/index.php...display&pid=67

You can be assured that I'll study all the options before doing anything. Just exploring options for now. Surely there is more then one way to do this?

If you have the time post back with what you decided to do. what you used etc...

I would check with both GM & www.alldata.com for updated reflashing 1st.
