whats going on with my car

I just got done waxing my car using a porter cable.it took me about 7 hours and after i was done it sat in the garage for a day. now after i went outside and started it,i get this-
traction control off
stability control off
service ABS system
service traction control
service stability control
service variable effort steering
now the steering is a little harder.i unplugged the ground on the battery and left it for about 3-4 minutes but that didnt help.

Re: whats going on with my car

ABS/tire pressure/ whatever else sensor plug probably. theres one on each wheel hub. i assume you have an 04+ because i dont have most of those alerts, so i dont know if im right...but it deffinately sounds like it could be caused by the plug or the wiring thereof.

i suggest takin a look at all of them (one on each wheel, i do believe). maybe try disconnecting and reconnecting them, unless one of them is obviously detached. thats my two cents. good luck, though

Re: whats going on with my car

Maybe some water got into one of the contacts around the car, that's why you need to be very careful when pressure washing your car, specially at the engine compartment.

It's good to know the problem is gone!

Oscar.
