Re: keyless programming

TRANSMITTER PROGRAMMING

1. Ground terminal No. 4 (Black wire) to terminal No. 8 (Black/White wire) of Data Link Connector (DLC) located under lower left side of instrument panel. Receiver will respond by locking and unlocking all doors. Press LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on first transmitter to be programmed. Receiver will respond by locking/unlocking all doors.

2. Press both LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously on all transmitters to be programmed (up to 4). Receiver will again respond by locking/unlocking all doors. Remove ground jumper from DLC terminals No. 4 and 8. Transmitter operation can be verified by locking and unlocking doors
and automatically activating liftgate release.

Re: keyless programming

Sometimes you may have to press and hold the LOCK & UNLOCK buttons after replacing the batteries if the remote loses sync. After holding them down for 7-10 seconds while standing near the vehicle, the remote will be "found" again.

This will ONLY work if the remote has previously been programmed.
