This is, as some of you may know, an old Fujimi curbside kit that was intended more to be a toy than a static model. It was used (and still being used) by Fujimi to make different configurations of 190E's. Despite the age of this model kit, the body is very good detailed, and although you can't say the same for the interiors they are acceptable. The chasis is the worst part, it is a single molded piece having only the muffler separated, so if you want to make some detail in the chasis you need to mask a lot, and it does not correspond to the original chasis of the car because it is not rare to find other Fujimi kits of the same era but of different brands of cars that had exactly the same chasis. The interesting feature of the chasis is that it lets you to set the ride hight between two options, normal and low. In addition to the above, this kit has a lot of optinal parts like steering wheels, seats, etc. So, although it is not a top of the art kit, it is very fun to build and you actually can play with it when finished, if you want to. When the 190E where launched back in 1982, AMG still was an independent company from Mercedes-Benz, so they took some liberties such as painting the front grill in black (or matching the color of the car) and even getting rid of the Mercedes-Benz iconic star. I got inspired in the artwork of the box to paint the model. Thank you for watching. All comments are welcome.
NOTE: I will change the size of the pictures as soon as I find how to!!
