1998 Avenger 2.0 reman engine
may be a stupid question but i bought a reman engine for my avenger the tag says i must prelube engine before CRANKING engine but no instructions on how to do this. any ideas?

to answer my own question the only way i could find to do this was to remove the oil pressure sensor went to lowes and got some rubber hose. a barb fitting to fit in the hole where the sensor was, a drill operated pump and a gallon of oil. i put the fitting in the block where the oil pressure sensor goes hooked up hose to pump then pumped til i seen oil coming out of lifters,and replaced oil pressure sensor then before i installed the spark plugs or valve cover i disabled the fuel system cranked the engine til oil came out of the lifters. seemed to wok fine on my engine but still not sure its the way the reman company wanted.
