1997 pontiac grand prix brake caliper ABS

yes, i want to replace the caliper on driver side of my gp. do i have bleed all the wheels after installation or only the driver side?

are you just replacing the L/F caliper then just bleed the 1 wheel
but calipers are usually done in pairs
why just the 1?? most will tell you to bleed all wheels, to bleed some of the
old,dirty br/fluid out any time you open the system,this is good to do
brake fluid should be changed every 2 years,so if it has'nt been done
it would be good to do it now.THIS keeps the dirt out of the ABS system
the rear calipers on your car have been a problem since they started
using them(e-brake sieze)which is part of the caliper
so what are you replacing the caliper for???siezed/leak

thanks for the reply, the one caliper is sticking not retracting all the way, and it makes a lound noise when the brakes are pushed,sounds like thump noise.

ok sounds like the rotor is warped(thump,thump)it will need to be
resurfaced or replaced,good time to replace pads also

thanks again for the help, i repaced new pads and rotors not long ago, as i mentioned when you hit brakes at low speeds you can hear a loud noise,only at low speeds. all help would be appreciated.

only one time, goes away until apply brakes again.
