MFH Porsche 917/20

Finally got my MFH Pink Pig in the mail. Unfortunately the body looked like this...

I know what most of you are thinking, $300 and you got this? Well, I emailed their customer service as I did a long time ago when I got a 250LM with a smushed rear chassis. The very same day I got an email back with a tracking number for the following...

As you can see no warp. I got this today which was less than a week and that's including the Monday US holiday. This was free of charge. I would say this is fantastic customer service. I am very appreciative of what they do to make their customers happy. This makes buying all 20 some odd kits I have over the past worth it. I will post a detailed review of this kit shortly with hopefully a comparison with the Fisher Pink Pig, too. The only complaint I have is that the lightning bolt and "E" are not fluorescent as on the real car.

Yep, MFH are fantastic in that regard. They shipped frame for my 166MM when mine was bent, and even sold me 1 wheel for my 250 GTO project at their cost and included it in hte package and mailed it to me for free. WTG.

That is good customer service, but at the price of the kits, I wouldn't expect anything less than that.

I hope these guys are okay after the earthquake... I want to wait before I email them again for parts to use on my 250 GTO.

Members of F1M.com got in contact with Hiro and confirmed they are o.k. Minor damage to their building but that seems to be it.

Looks like something they can fix without major trouble. I am glad it is not more serious.
