02 trailblazer rear heat problem..blowing cold air

I have a trailblazer ext..i think..its got the third row seating...anyhow, the air works fine in the rear of the vehicle...heat is where im having a problem. I have both the driver and passenger temp set to 90 degrees and then i turn the knob i have below my radio to turn the heat on in the rear and nothing but cold air comes out. In the rear, it has a temp control setting with the radio for those in the rear..everytime i try to change the temp on that cluster, it flashes like three of four times but nothing changes. What could be the problem? Just give me somewhere to start..is the rear cluster bad?

Could be, if it flashes it is seeing a fault. You will need an OE shop manual to track this down.

Who is roadie sais?
But.
Like Maxwedge says.
You need some good repair info.
With auto matic Ac/heater controls a Body/HAVC capable scanner check will point you to the problem.
If you get any code no post back codes.
Got any repair info?
If not Good Old factory OEM manual or A good All Data online DIY repair info sub will help you out.
A lot of public libarys also have car repair info.
