fuel pump question
I have a 2003 tacoma that wont start acts like its out of gas. When I turn the key on but dont turn it all the way to start there is a quiet whining soung comming from somewhere around the intake this noise gets a little louder if I pump the gas pedal or if I manually rotate the throttle the sound changes as I rotate it. If I let the truck sit for awhile It will almost start them quits.

spray some carb cleaner into the intake, if it fires up and runs for a couple of seconds ,you have a fuel problem
