Infiniti FX45 Transfer Case solenoid

Does anyone know if this is a common problem with this vehicle. It's my understanding that they can go out as a result of being towed with the front or rear wheels on the ground. Is this true?

Also, is this a sealed unit or can the transfer case solenoids be replaced?
