Mid-engined 3g?

I know this is pretty far-fetched and not likely to happen (at least for me), but I thought about it this morning and thought it would be a pretty interesting idea.

How would one go about modifying a 3g eclipse so that it's mid-engined and rwd? And is this possible in any way? I know a lot of renovating would have to be done to the car, a completely new drivetrain, transmission, possibly new axles, moving all the engine parts to where the rear seats are, getting an intake through the moon roof and/or sides, moving the gas tank, etc.

Just a thought, the car shape would be pretty nice for a mid-engined roadster. Open to any opinions of the hypothetical situation, try not to just say it's impossible.
