Supercharge a 305 TBI

I have a 92 camaro RS and i was wondering if it is possible to supercharge this engine. It is a 305 V 8 with TBI. If so how hard would it be.

You could do it you either with a roots style blower and switching to carb or keep the tb set-up and use a FI carb-style bonnet and a Centrifugal S/C.

keep in mind that you'll have to get an adapter plate to mount your throttle body on top of a supercharger, then fabricate a bracket for your throtte,tv,and cruise cables. and, you may want to upgrade to a 670 throttle body.

vortec makes a supercharger specific for a tbi engine, look for it in their section for GM trucks.

I think i'l check into the vortec and i was wanting a new hood anyway so thanks for the good reason.

Seen a twin turbo LO3 Camaro a couple weeks ago. Let me tell ya, WOW!!!!!! The set up was sick. The turbos where at the end of the headers, the air filters where behind the headlights, and the intake tubes came up from the back of the engine, wraped around the engine compartment right into the throttle body. It was clamped right onto the TBI unit. The engine was essentialy stock vise the headers and a rebuild kit. I think he was pushing like 8psi or something. Dynod at over 400hp. Lotsa lotsa money, but it was still sick.

yea vortec makes a supercharger that can fit under your stock hood... i was just lookin at that
