305 to a 454 engine swap question
im planning on takin out my 305 to go with a 454 in my 79, anything special that id have to do for this

If i remember correctly someone posted a thread like this before. I think there might be some sort of clearance issue when it comes to the headers clearing the steering shaft.

Re: 305 to a 454 engine swap question
Many things to consider when going from a small engine to the big one.
There is going to be more weight on front end and supension and brakes. More torque on a light transmission and rear end made for small engine. Raditors and as said clearance may be problem. Good luck.
