99 starting hard
My 99 3500 5.7 L cranks for a long time before it starts Runs fine after it starts Sometimes it starts just as i'm letting go of the key buddy says maybe pick up coil? any help appreciated

Check the fuel pressure. Make sure it pumps up to at least 60psi key on engine off, and then make sure it doesn't drop off immediatly.
To me it sounds like your fuel pressure regulator is the culprit for the long start times. You may be able to peer into the throttle body, or just remove it, and look at the top of the LIM for a washed spot where its clean from a gas leak at the FPR. Look in the t-body towards the even bank of cylinders. If there is a clean spot, gas is leaking in.
