What should I be leary of on these cars? I have read that Maximas tend to chew up brake pads which is no big deal to me. Are there any other issues with Maximas that I should know about?
Thanks in advance!

Theres no free miles in life: what is the ? maint history: shocks, engine, water pump, pwr steering, coilpacks, injectors, alt, start, exhaustpipe, brakes, clutch replaced etcetc.
Chassis: check carefully rear wheel wells, peek with flaslight under trunk upholstery; rotten-through area the owner typically has no idea...
No problem in Nissan brakes - if one cannot drive, any brakes fail... brake fluids have to be replaced once in 2-3yrs regardless of the vehicle. Like A/T fluids.
If documented maintenance history is good and all parts replaced, no rust - maybe ok. I would seek smtg with half the miles with same price (while knowing that most odometers have been trimmed).
Take the car into Nissan stealership or some other repair shop - and ask their opinion - u might even get that free.
