maxima is 190 hp stock right? plus its a v6 so its gotta have more torque. no matter how much i like the lude im gonna have to go with the maxima. ive been in one and theyre pretty quick. i lost to one im my dads v6 accord. but then again i had my fat ass friend and his cousin in the car with me

maxima has 190 hp and 205 torque. same amount of hp as the prelude but weighs in at 3050 while the prelude is 2930 approximately. plus the 3.0 v6 in the maxima takes real well to mods, but preludes mod pretty decent. I dont know still wouldnt mind opinions!

they'll definately give you a hard time. but i'm gonna have to go with the prelude. now the newer maximas, it'd be a different story.

funny someone would post this topic.
my friend has a 97 maxima se 5sp and i a 92 si 5sp, we raced through 3 traffic lights from a dead stop and i tell you his car is pretty fast. not quick but fast once he gets rolling. his car has alot of torque and hp but the gear ratios arent as good as the lude. we were neck to neck til i hit 3rd gear, needless to say i beat him but he put up a real good fight. and to think i dont even have a vtec.

well it all depends on the drivers but the max runs 15.5 stock and the prelude is about that same time. but add an i/y/e combo to the max it gains 20-30 whp! d**n thats good!
