How did you manage to get 'scalde to sit flat? I'm guessing it's probably b/c its a 1/18 scale. I cut off all of the ground effects on my 1/24 scale escalde and cut new holes to shift the wheels up but it gets stopped by the rear differential and the valance under the front wheels. I've never seen a 1/18 so im guess those are an issue on it. But this summer i'm also going to be working on body dropping the '72 Chevy. I figured out how to remove the inside of the bed and now i just have to do some glueing and cutting. I'm also gonna have to use the wheels off of the Impala b/c they are smaller and then it will sit flat.
