smells like Crunchie bar..?
i get a smell like a cruchie bar (honeycomb nougart?) and some steam from under the hood after going up a steep hill in 3rd gear. at first i thought a wet soggy maple leaf was caught on something hot but didnt find anything. anyone got any ideas about what things smell like when they leak? now i suspect coolant but just don't know... thanks

It's coolant burning of the exhaust manifold.
Meaning you have leak in the radiator on in a hose somewhere, or a broken seal some where. Find it and fix it before it gets bad and kills the engine. either that or you now know where you left that half eaten crunchie bar.

I have a samll hole in the top of my radiator, it only leaks whn it gets really hot, but it's winter so it barely moves the needle at all.
