85 190e annoying relay clicking

I have an annoying relay clicking problem coming from the glove box area. It's intermittent, but it seems to go away if the Heater-A/C is off. Anyone? Thanks...Phil

YOUR BLOWER MOTOR IS GOING BAD (AMP OVERLOAD/OR SHORT)

That is the switching valve unit that operates your ac vent controls, it is has vacuum and electrical connections, it is fairly loud if you have no radio, dose all the vents seam to be working properly ?

frustrated is correct that noise is usually caused be the valves that control the air flaps or sometimes it is caused by the cabin temperature aspirator blower motor. This motor circulates the cabin air past a temp sensor for the tempmatic acc system

Check the aspirator blower and see if that is the noise. Located on the passenger side of dash. Take the lower panel down on that side of the dash and look/listen.
