POLY bushings
Finally the job is done all my bushing are now poly. NO MORE squeeks and rear end sliding around. Oh ya if ya plan on doing a bushing swap out. You have to cut all the aluminum inserts out (at least this is the easiest way if you dont have a press). ALL execpt the rear bushing that is probly out on all the cars that have not had them changed, you just have to cut all the rubber out of the sleve or tourch it out. It took me 5 days to complete this but i took my time. Anybody have any ???s let me know e-mail or post here I can tell ya all about it.[email protected]

Thats the guys addy that I got my bushing from all but the LCA one I got that one at a local shop for $30. I bought the whole set for $134.39 with shipping. The only thing the kit did not come with is the sway bar bushings and the LCA the big one in the middle. Oh ya I also replaced all the struts while it was all apart. This car rides like it was brandnew. Exept a few skweeks from the passangers side door panal but silicone will fix that. A rougher ride but it handles great cant say enough on how it handles. I raced a buddy (his car is in my avatar) around a couple hair pin turns and he drifted and i never did. We where going about 35 40 around these corners. |

the big bushings you refer to are called the trailing arm bushings. those are the ones that go out on every civic. i bought my set from energy suspensions. it came with everything except the sway bar bushings, trailing arm bushings, rear compensator arm bushings, and rear upper control arm bushings. i bought the trailing arm bushings seperately, and am awaiting energy suspensions release of the comp arm and upper control arm bushings.
werds of advice: dont use the balljoint covers because they dont seal well. if your stock balljoint covers are torn, the best thing to do is just buy new balljoints. trust me, i got in a wreck because i just changed the cover, and the inside of my balljoint was funked out, and it broke going 40mph. needless to say that 30 dollar balljoint was added to a 400 dollar repair bill. its safe insurance, considering our cars are at least 11 years olf
