Talking New car for me pretty soon

If anyone noticed, lately I stopped being such a post-whore . That's because I'm really busy with work and stuff. Well anyways, in the next couple of weeks I will probably be signing on with a company full time, and going to college part time this fall. I will be making very good money, so a newer car will be appropriate. I would probably buy this towards the end of the summer, early fall when prices on sports cars go down. I already narrowed it down to 5, but feel free to add more. Here are the criteria:

1. Under $20k.
2. I would prefer a car 10 years or newer
3. 2 door > 4 door

Here's what I came up with so far:

1. Nissan 350z (problem is it's kind of hard to find for $20k, especially a better model
2. Honda S2000 (I hate the gearing on that, 75 @ 4000 rpms in 6th)
3. Mazda RX8 (short gearing again, not much midrange grunt)
4. Evo (would have to spend more than $20k, plus, I'd like to stay away from 4 door)
5. Sti (see Evo)

The MR2 would be the daily driver. Spent too much time on it to sell it. And it's an NA, so it wouldn't satisfy my craving for speed.

Re: New car for me pretty soon

Drove a 350z today. Don't like it. Waaay too much noise at 60 mph. It's like a tire/buzzing noise. Not something I could live with.

Not to mention the clutch feels like shit... I hate the way the clutch pops back at you.

Re: New car for me pretty soon

Gotta agree with Cassiesman, ///M3 Power is the way to go. They look beautiful in black...

a used C5 would be pretty nice too.

Or a newer 240 with an S14 swap would be awesome too.

EDIT: Maybe get the RX-8 and swap in the JDM 3 rotor engine (20B, I think?). Twin turbo, 3 rotors, nice body, can't go wrong.

Wait, will this be a daily driver?
