Cool Hello I'm new

Hello:

I just found this place as I was searching for ways to make my civic 100x's better and faster. Anyways, this seems to be a great place and I look forward to reading everything. I have a 94 civic Dx and so far I've put on new rims and tires, body kit, lights, CF hood, Iceman CAI, exhaust, new headers , suspension system, coil overs all that stuff within the past 2 weeks. Anyways glad to be here, and as I get more aquainted with the terms and what I have, I'll be of more help with my description.

Bill

Welcome to AF! We are all pretty nice and knowledgeable, some more so then others, but you should be able to find the answer to any questions you might have on here or be directed to the answer. Sit back, read the FAQs, and relax. You will probably notice a change in your sleep patterns, do not worry, this is normal.

You've done more to your ride in the 2 weeks than I done to mine in the 5 months

Anyhow, Welcome!

It doesn't really bother me that you think a DX is slow. It's what I have and I'm doing the best with what I have. I really don't care if you think I got a ricer or not, like someone said, doing mods to a car is an art, and everyone has their own preferences. I don't care if I get beat on the parkway or if I go to the track, I'm having fun cause I know my car is one of a kind, that's all that matters to me.

Welcome to PureHonda! Sounds like you have a lot of mods to your car already. More than me and I bought my car last July. But I'm proud to say that I spent my own money putting everything together.....

Sorry bud, but if you just got your EX...you'll soon find out that they're not that fast either, i've had my EX for a year now, and since it was my first 5-speed, i thought i was fast shit, until i started driving some SI's and Integra's....and yes, unfortunately DOHC Neons. It puts out decent power for the size of the engine, but it takes some work to make the engine race-worthy. Don't get me wrong though, I love my car and i'm sure you'll love yours...just wish I had an SI.
