quick question to all VW people..

i just bought a Revell MKII GTi 16v and i noticed that on the motor the intake and exhaust manifold are on the same side. is it really like that on a real 16v?

I'm not a specialist in watercooled VW's, I'm more into aircooled VW's but here are some pictures that could help you.

Are VW people "round for a reason" ?
(maybe that's just New Beetle folks. LOL)

Lots of Over-head-cam inline 4's have the intake and exhaust on the same side.
