Adjusting Valves on GMC 5.7 Vortec Engine

I am rebuilding the engine on a 99 GMC Sierra 5.7 Vortec Engine. Need information on adjusting the valves. Cannot get any information anywhere. Please help if anyone has any info.

NOt sure but

with zero lash on the pushrod, go 1/4-3/4 turn

after start up make sure none are to loose and making noise, you can adjusts them while the motor is running, small mess but not bad
