Unhappy Electrical Problem?

Having more troubles with my "new" old car.

01 Olds Intrigue GX 68,500 mi. under dealer warranty till 12/10/11.

Third time I've had this issue in the last 2 wks. Happened around same speed each time....at about 60 mph, the car jerks real hard, almost like a tranny slip. The first time, my dash lights dimmed shortly before. Haven't noticed it since, tho.

Brought it to transmission shop first time it happened, and he's not getting any codes off it. Nor do I have any engine lights on. He had said it may be a split-second electrical failure, which would cut the motor? He also mentioned the solenoids releasing pressure at the wrong time, but again, we have no codes from the tranny diagnostic. Wouldn't it give one if this were the case?

Also, if it's any relation to this or not, my back right window wouldn't roll down for a whole day from either switch, but next day worked fine. (u don't have to address window, just put on for any corrolation to current problem)

Not sure what to think here....am i dealing with an electrical nightmare?

Re: Electrical Problem?

I had a similar issue when I was dealing with an ignition switch problem, basically the car would shut off for a split second while driving down the road. The dash would behave like the car was off, the needles would sweep to their resting positions really fast and then jump back up.

There are many posts on ignition switch problems, because it is one of the more common Intrigue issues. Something to think about anyway.
