NICE BUDDY!! :sun:

Damn, my computer just crashed the first time I tried to reply to this thread. You and your 80 pictures!! :right: (more likely it was the 3.5 gigs of porn I was trying to download from KaZaa :buck ).

Anyway, anyway, I got to check out a lot of what you have pictures of during my 10-hour marathon visits to the NY Auto Show this weekend (that was over a total of three separate visits). First and foremost, I was very surprised at how little the Lotus Esprit has visually changed over the years. They had some outside on Sunday, dating all the way back to the James Bond car used in... I wanna say Moonraker, but I'm not sure about that. It's amazing to me how the car has had such minor evolutionary changes (obviously a big change was switching from an I4 to a V8 just a few years back) through time; I would say that it seems to have been changed through time even less than the Porsche 911.

The new TSX rules, inside and out. Love the front end, and I like the back end a whole lot. It has a beautiful interior, some of the coolest digital gauges around (maybe too cool, honestly), with great seats front and back. My only complaint would be that even though the back seats are very comfy, the car has too short a wheelbase to allow much rear leg room.

The Mazda 6 was very nice as well. Honestly, I didn't sit in another car at the entire show where the driving position, the driver's seat, the position of the steering wheel, shifter, everything felt so cohesively and intrinsically "right" as a unit designed for the driver. Excellent.

The G35 was a surprise to me in how nice it was inside. They did a great job with this car's interior. I actually found it substantially more comfortable then either the Q45 or the M45, actually. The newest Nissan interiors in general are really well put together. They feel like they have really been doing their homework there of late, which I noted in the G35, the Murano, and the new Maxima.

Saabs continue to be ergonomic experts, in both the 9-3 and the 9-5. Great front seating, with good back seating. And though their sheetmetal designs are looking a little more status quo (like I see a lot of Jetta-like lines in the 9-3's front end now), they are status quo in a handsome way.

Don't really care for the new front end on the WRX.. of course, I didn't particularly like the old one either. However, my complaints about the car basically stop there (though I would like to see them use a "real deal" front mount intercooler in front of the radiator rather than the current intercooler that fits in the engine bay above and behind the intake manifold). And I know the car kicks some ass, as I got drive my brother's a week and change back.

To that end, very disappoined that Mitsubishi didn't have model of the Lancer Evolution that you could sit in. Porsche had a Cayenne you could sit in, BMW had an M3 you could sit in, and there were even more swanky high end cars you could sit in if you were willing to stand in line and sit two at a time. That was a disappointment. While visually not very exciting, say next to the RX-8, I am very curious about the driving experience of the Evo.

I think that's all I've got for now. (I've also added some thoughts here.)

I share you dissappointment, but you have to think of who they're closing the car off to. Most people who want to take a look inside the M3 are either older/more mature, or know how to treat a car. Most people that want to take a look in an Evo however, are the boy racer crowd that are going to bang the thing all up
