99 cutlass DRL module help

I am wondering if there is a drl module or if the drl's are controled by the BCM. I am trying to disable the DRL's so i can put HID's in but the DRL's make the HID's strobe cuz they aren't giving them full power. I have been to many web sites including lightsout.com. Also if the cutlass is set up just like a 99 grand am i saw a post on here that was very helpfull. But Gm made a lot of cars the same like the cutlass and the malibu but at the same time changed little things. If anyone can help out let me know

Re: 99 cutlass DRL module help

I have HID's in my 98 cutty...and when i installed them i had the same issue.. here is the fix

Get you owners manual and find the DRL Relay located in the fuse box under the Hood....pop the sucker out and presto..bingo..

doing this will illuminate the service vehicle soon light on your dashboard...but if you can live with that light being on then you are in good shape...
