Engine Oil

How long does it take to cool down? If I drove my car for 25-30 (not cold start either been off for 3 hours) mins and then cool it down for 20 then drove it for 5 mins after is it safe to redline it for 3 gears cause thats kiind of what i did today.

Basically, if the temp gauge is more than halfway between "C" and normal operating temperature, put your foot to the floor and have fun. That is very conservative... you can get away with doing that at lower temperatures, but the risk of wear and damage increases.
