Thanks for your kind comments. I found the kit excellent to build, this is the Aoshima one, although lacking a full engine. I have another one in my stash and i purchased a white metal rover 3.5litre engine to go in it. So far I have not attempted the conversion due my lack of skill!! Regards Hartford |

WOW!!
Great job! as you've said the weathering is not the best, but can be good for a weekend-fun time...  And, however, the build is perfect.. Is this kit easy to find¿? I didn't know that Aoshima made this RR, I thought that the only available one was the Italeri one... I ask you this because I want to build one in order to give it to my father, who always loved this car... regards, James

Thanks for your kind comments. Aoshima don't make this kit anymore but I found mine on ebay. They turn up fairly regularly. The Aoshima kit is much better than the Iterleri one; i have both in my stash as I owned both the two door and four door versions when i was younger so want to replicate them. Good luck with your hunt on ebay. Regards Hartford ps. just remembered that Revell also did this kit but i am not sure if it is a reissue of the Aoshima one or whether they did their own.
