Hi everyone

This was my first attempt at weathering a kit; not the greatest but i was pleased with the outcome.

Hope you enjoy

Thanks for your kind comments.

I found the kit excellent to build, this is the Aoshima one, although lacking a full engine.

I have another one in my stash and i purchased a white metal rover 3.5litre engine to go in it. So far I have not attempted the conversion due my lack of skill!!

Re: Range Rover

WOW!!

Great job! as you've said the weathering is not the best, but can be good for a weekend-fun time... And, however, the build is perfect..

Is this kit easy to find¿? I didn't know that Aoshima made this RR, I thought that the only available one was the Italeri one... I ask you this because I want to build one in order to give it to my father, who always loved this car...

regards, James

Re: Range Rover

Hi James

Thanks for your kind comments.

Aoshima don't make this kit anymore but I found mine on ebay. They turn up fairly regularly. The Aoshima kit is much better than the Iterleri one; i have both in my stash as I owned both the two door and four door versions when i was younger so want to replicate them.

Good luck with your hunt on ebay.

Regards

Hartford

ps. just remembered that Revell also did this kit but i am not sure if it is a reissue of the Aoshima one or whether they did their own.
