Ferrari California

Hi Gentlemen, I just finished my Revell California, painted with automotive paint similar to Azzurro California, interior is beige / black. I replaced the rims with Fujimi BBS 20"s, added some PE brake discs and metal transfers, carpet and seatbelts. Here come the pics, thanks for watching, c&c are welcome:

Re: Ferrari California

Very cool, but it needs some small lowering. With this height you can ride over any bumps with any speed

I'm thinking of buying this kit to, but not the cabrio version.

Kris.

Re: Ferrari California

Beautiful model! The color suits it well.

PS: The Fujimi BBS 20" wheels are in fact the equivalent of 21" real life wheels.

Re: Ferrari California

Nice work! Love the "for rent" sign. ha. It does sit too high. Function of the new wheels or Revell design flaw?

looking at pics from the Ferrari Expo this year, the ride height looks correct, there is a good gap on the actual car

fantastic build, any shots of the engine

I really like the new wheels, they are a good match for the car.

Re: Ferrari California

Damn, janositamas -

your build accomplishes what some say is a pretty difficult task -

it makes the car look good!

Very clean, brother...

Re: Ferrari California

Thank you guys!
As for the ride height, it could have sit a little lower for sure to be honest, but till the final assembly I didn't have any dryfit as mating the body and chassis was a bit hard and didn't want to ruin the build. So yes, maybe the ride height is correct concerning the 1:1 car, but for the model a little lowering would make it sit better on the rims!
And as for the engine shots, I only have this one during the build not finished:

Thanks for everyone again!
