steering recall?
'96 regal.
I had the steering pinion thing replaced under warrantee about 5 years and 25k miles ago even though there was no steering problem. About 6 months ago the steering slowly went bad. I had the Buick dealership (Signer of Newark Ca.) fix it. They replaced the entire sterring gear box thingy for big bucks. Frankly I had forgotten about the warantee work 5 yers ago. I am looking for opinions and insight. Do you think the repair this year should have been covered under the recall? A confusion factor is the dealership has since been shut down by Government Motors. |
