odometer

I have a 98 mustang convertable with 3.8L eng. My speedometer works fine but my odometer doesn't work at all. It is stationary at 144,000 mi. What could be the problem? Also my passenger power window will not roll down with the passenger switch but will roll up and down with the drivers switch. When I roll the window down with the drivers switch the passenger switch can roll it up.

Re: odometer

sorry that would be the odometer, I think the window is straight forword..... bad switches or bad wires

Re: odometer

Waytold on the Crown Vic forum says the dealer sells parts. He works for a Police Garage I never was able to buy speedometer parts in Georgia. I had to buy a junkyard unit and swap it out.
Otherwise go to a company like speedometer service get a part put it in and let them recalibrate and certify the job.
They monitor these closely in Georgia.
