Hello, Heres my project which i started about 2 months ago.

I havent figured out what color to paint the car with yet.

And the chassis, the header to exhaust part needs some adjustment as you can see.

Re: 71 HEMI Cuda

so far it looks pretty good. I hope you don't go for orange, that color is about as overdone on 'Cuda's as red is on Ferrari's.

I don't know how concerned you are with technical accuracy, but the distributor is pointing the wrong way. Google Hemi Cuda to find some good pics, here is one good reference page.

Re: 71 HEMI Cuda

Though not a stock '71 shade as far as I know, this colour looks nice (to me).

Re: 71 HEMI Cuda

Now THAT is a nice shade of orange!

Having been building model cars for a couple decades now, I'm getting to the point where I'm having to really look for new colors and ideas when it comes to my projects. I've got too many red Corvettes and Ferraris, and have had to move on from the stock colors for all my Mopars.

Case in point: my (technically) Phantom '71 Superbird done in 2003 Dodge Shell Green. How did that come about? Touchup paint from a repair on my Caravan.
