Re: Volkswagon Ratbus

That is absolutely fantastic! I love it. As a Volkswagen enthusiast, I hate to see them in other than perfect condition. But this is really well done. The chipped, worn paint is just about the best I've ever seen. How did you do it?

The rest of your diorama setting is super cool, too.

WOW!!
Beautiful job, you did a really great job, that rusty paint looks exceptionally realistic!

just one thing, i belive the roof is a canvas or some kind of fabric, so it shouldn'n look like the rest of the van.

again, your work is fenomenal, congrats!

Amazing work Kai!!!!!!!!!!

That looks awsome!!! Can you tell us how you achieved that, the way the rust colour showing through the paint?
The finish, stance, everything is perfectly weathered looking! Keep up the terrific work! Hope to see more from you!

Re: Volkswagon Ratbus

UFFF... thats a beautiful bus, really well done rust effect. Can you give us some details about the WIP?
And the diorama... ahh the tree... wow, no words for that.

Congrats...

Really fantastic work throughout! The rust effect is astonishingly good! A real one probably wouldn't look as real. Can't say enough good things about this

Welcome, nice to see another German modeler here

Model is outstanding, did you use the salt and water method?

Very nice work!! I like the 57 Nomad on your website as well. Your weathering and rust looks dead on.

Re: Volkswagon Ratbus

Hi guys great to see that you like my bus so much

to answer your question about the paintjob:
jes i use the salt an water method. on my homepage now you can see how i did it. look at: "rosten mit der salzmethode!" there you find it.

the air condition is build by myself

see you
