Are there any automotive modeling clubs in the Seattle area?

Re: Seattle Area Model Car Club?

For sure there is the Puget Sound Auto Modelers(PSAMA), contact Tony at R&D Unique for info. I've been away for a few years so don't know if there still are some general IPMS all category type clubs around anymore.

Where in the Seattle area are you at?

I live in Seattle and PSAMA is all that "I" am aware of clubwise that caters specifically to automotive modeling. There are a small number of car modelers in IPMS Seattle (including myself) - I've never really felt welcome at PSAMA.

Re: Seattle Area Model Car Club?

Well, it's been about 14 years or so, but I was in a modeling club that held meets at American Eagle Hobbies on Tacoma avenue. They didn't have a LOT of car modellers, mostly military and historical stuff, but there were a few of us gear heads in there.

You might try asking your LHS if there are any clubs that get together.

Again I say, it's been a LONG time since I've smelled the Tacoma Aroma, but I do miss being there. Good luck with finding a club.
