WIP Tameo F2004 Australia GP Schumi

hey,

This is my next Tameo.. This will be my Torcan Contest entry for 2009, junior category. This will be my first contest. I plan on taking my time on this one and making it look really good., anyway im going to start with a pic of the car.



Nose of Car



Finally got to start this, i sanded the body and drilled some holes..



I Left the parts in the bag, i still have to remove them and test fit some of them..

update, i glued some areo on the car and attached mirrors, i had to prepare the body alot and sand alot.. i also test fitted some suspension parts.. More to come!

And sprayed a few days later.. I sprayed it with Bright Red and decanted the can, i think it looks very good its shiny and no orange peel , but the camara is nopt very good so u cannot make the red out..ill take btter pics with the good camara later.

Looking awesome so far. Paint looks great already. Those photos do make it appear like you've flooded it with paint though, but I think that's just the photos. Waiting to see some more .

yes it just the photos and also the light.. I am very happy with myself on the caot, it turned out great

I waited a few days for the paint to dry then i started decaling , i am very very happy with the outcome , its very hard to get a good picture of it...
Well here we go!

The red looks excellent. Are you going to clear over the decals? (not saying you should btw, just curious)

thanks, yes i am going to clear over the decals, i always do but i ran out of clear so i have to go get some

finally another update... sorry i have been very busy...

i have the undertray sprayed and the back wing primed and ready for paint



the wheels are ready for decals and clearcoat



and the body was clearcoated
