Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
Yeah, that's cool!
Understated but the build quality speaks volumes! I love it!

Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
it's amazing how much better the car looks with more modern big wheels.

Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
I remember those cars! Porsche needs to bring them back.
Nice clean build. Just the way it should be... good stuff. |

Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
I love it! I love the paint and the clean build.
What color did you use for it? I've been emailing hiroboy to see if they could add Macadamia Metallic to the Porsche line of paint by Zero paints. I'm doing a Porsche 928 in Manganese Brown Metallic by Testors. What clear did you use? Anyway, nice looking 944! Thanks for sharing. Chris |

Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
Hi,
What about "side turn signals"? ![]() Your brake / turn light need a "black line": ![]() Another, where is "rear window wiper engine"?

The rearlights didn't have the black lines because I think they are to hard to paint. My hand is not steady enough So I left it like this. And the wiper motor wasn't included with the kit and I don't wanna make my own motor. First I wanted to remove the whole wiper but than I'll still have a hole in the glass. Kris.

Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
if you're worried about shakey hands for the thin black lines, you can try using strips of black decal. It would also require a steady hand but it gives you the chance to move it around a bit unlike if you were trying to paint it.
In case you haven't guessed, I've recently been marvelling at the possibilities of black decals for window trim and the like....

Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
Good Job Ice!
Porschete, you can't even say "nice job" before the criticism comes? Jeez! ![]() The side markers are not the best design of the kit, they should have left it solid, also good job getting the pop-ups to actually work. I glued mine flat because they were warped. |

Re: Porsche 944 TURBO
I think it looks superb. Did you have to lower it? I had to do a lot of lowering on the 968 I built and had big problems locating the chassis. Did you have the same issues with this one? You could also try black bare metal foil cut into strips for the black lines, I have found this to be quite successful.
