little bump on sidewall?
Well the winter sucks as always and I ran over a couple of nice potholes the other day. I checked the rim over and over and it seems ok. I have velox vx nova's. Does anybody know how strong of a rim they are. It doesnt appear to be bent but my quesion is I have z rated kumho ecsta 712 tires and the sidwall looks a little pushed out like a bump on the side. Could that be from the bump? Will it go away? or over time is it bad? Any info about this
thanks a lot |

The bubble you talk of is where the steel belts have prolly separated and now it's a weaken part of the tire. I would get a new one or two new ones if your tires are old.
