Chassis Format?

Ok ... so I've decided to get a G20 and I want to put a DET in it ... however I'm having trouble deciding on which platform ... P10 or P11? Any difference? Engine doesn't matter because I'm putting the DET in, but are there any other considerations I'm overlooking? Body can be redone with the right body kit. Lights? Cosmetics? Anything? Thanks!

OBD I & OBD II

The 91-93 P10 would probably be the easiest platform to swap a DET into only because of its similar wiring harness and lack of OBD II. The 94-96 P10 will work, but you will have to deal with the difference in harnesses and the OBD II. JWT can reprogram the ECU to eliminate the 2nd O2 and the EGR System. The 99-00 P11 will be a little harder swap, since yo will not only have to worry about OBD II, 2nd O2, and EGR system, but you will also have to worry about repinning the Harness into the ecu to use a 94-96 P10 ECU, since JWT cannot reprogram the P11 ECU! I hope this helps!

Are there anything else to consider? Suspension? Parts? Modifiability?

Yeah aside from buying Lukes car I'll have to agree with APEXSER.

P10 should be cheaper of course and you'd be able to adjust rear toe (independant rear) which isn't easily done on a P11 (muti-link beam).

If you're going to lower the car, we can get front adjustable camber correction kits and caster adjustment kits, for both platforms, in New Zealand that you may not be able to get in The States.
