Front filler piece?

Hey I've heard a lot of people say they are shaving their front filler piece. What does this mean? A guy backed into my car and it dented up my front filler piece. If I shave it will it fix that? Does anyone have one they are willing to part out with? Thanks, Doug

hmm...most kits get rid of the front filler piece..that's shaving it otherwise, there's nothing to shave....its possible to 'mold' it into the front bumper..but that's about it..

The VIS invader bumper?

If so, then yes it will get rid of the filler piece.

Only the true brand names will have that piece molded into the bumper. Like VIS, Ground Designs, WW. ect. ect.
The cheaper fiberglass kits mount under that piece. It isnt always bad, sometimes you can get it to fit better than the more expensive bumpers.
