I have heard from alot of ppl that it will. So the next delmia, A guy told me that if I want to replace my rod bolts with some new ones (arp) that I would have to take the rods out and take them to a machine shop to have the bore checked to make sure it is still round . Has anybody heard of this? I have never heard of it but Iwant to do it if it is needed.
Thanks

if your just taking the headbolts off, why would you need to remove the pistons/rods to see if they are still round, it makes no sense.

That is what I was thinking. But this guy said that and I wasn't sure about it. I just wanted to make sure, it didn't seem right to me either. The only tome I could see that being needed is if you were changing the pistons, but your rods be at the machine shop anyway to have the pistons pressed on. I think I will be fine just taking the rod bolts out and replacing the bearings, without taking the pistons and rods out.
