There are three type of postcounts:

1. The count at left, under the username. It can also be viewed here: Top 10 Posters
2. The posts according to the Site Stats: Top Posters
3. The result of a "Search for all posts by this user" query. There is no easy table of these counts.

Rarely will all three match.

#1 can be altered, like when PH joined AF, they had their postcounts adjusted upwards to reflect their postcounts from the previous site. This will not be reflected in #2 or 3.

Many posts get hidden, nuked, deleted or lost. They usually get deducted from #1 and 3, but can remain in #2, since they were made. There have been cases where an entire forum was deleted, but AF did not want to penalize everyone's post counts because of it. Those posts are nowhere to be found, but they still count.

#3 will show you all the actual valid posts available, except if I have access to a hidden forum that you don't have access to, such as the Moderator's forum, or the Girl's forum. And again, if I made posts in a forum that's now deleted, of course they will be absent as well.

hmmmm..... postwhore. They change from time to time, but for long term, I'd have to say Jay and PM have shown remarkable stamina for as long as they've been here

Back on topic! I was thinking of specific instances of postwhoring, not total posts... For instance, all of us who have posted on the Yugo forum
