I dont know about where you are but I know that here it is legal to have the horn on a switch beside the column.....just in case you have to disconect the horn from the column. If you take the centerpiece off the wheel there should be some cotacts there, just check those out.

Im pretty sure it does, the whole piece that moves when you press the horn should pop off......Has anyone actually taken it off, I might take a look tomorrow.

To remove the steering wheel, you would need to pop off the honda emblem in the center of it. Just use a flathead screwdriver or whatever.

To remove the entire horn assembly, there are screws on the back of the steering wheel that you have to remove.

Anyways, find the horn wires at the steering wheel, and chase them down to wherever the problem is occuring. You'll probably just need to replace some of the wires. If you got to a junk yard, you can probably get the whole wiring harness for less than $20.

Talking

GOOD NEWS... i think. well what i neglated to also tell you was that my windshield wiper switch was messed up too, so that ment that if i hit a bump at the same time i was braking, my wipers would come on my cd player would turn off (short i think, came with the car), and my seltbelt light would start beeping. sound pretty screwed up i know. well, i think i my have solved the problem. i went to the junkyard saturday and picked up a light and wiper switch. i installed it today and now my wipers don't come on, no more beeping, and my horn doesn't come on(not sure if it will again, nuw i'm still paranoid that it will when i'm turning and i still hear that beeping noise in my heard whenever i brake). i'm am d man now :smoka:

thanx for the help...
