I want to build that kit as well, love the car! What are your impressions of the kit?

P.S. is it possible to make a Juha kankkunen version?

First I must confess that I’m a Tamiya fan. All my models (except this one and an Italeri Ferrari 512 TR) are from Tamiya.
There are some differences between this kit and the ones I’m use to build. First of all the paints. The numbers in the instruction manual correspond to Gunze Sangyo and Mr. Color paints.
It was a bit difficult for me to find conversion charts between this numbers and Tamiya or Humbrol numbers.
Other difference to Tamiya models is that Hasegawa use many small metal parts. This gives the car a better and realistic look.
For instance, Tamiya use decals for the belts.
Hasegawa use this:

Note that the belt measure is 2 millimetres, and sometimes we have to pass him four times into the same metal part!
Overall the quality of the model is really good and the decals are easy to handle and to apply,
I now plan to build more Hasegawa models. The Lancia 037 Rally, the Lancia Stratus and possibly the Lancia Delta HF Integrali.

Ales, this kit only has decals for Auriol or Bugalski versions.
I don’t know if the HF Integrali version have the Kankkunen decals.

Kind Regards.

Hey, good job, Gainsbourg!

Some Hasegawa kits are fantasticly detailed, like my Ferrari 348ts; some not so much, like my WRX wagon...

Thank you all for your comments.

Daggerlee,
I'm building all the four cars
This way I can paint all X-11, X-1, FX-16 parts at the same time and while one is drying I can do something with other.
At the moment I'm spending all my effort in the AMG Mercedes which I expect to finish and post some pictures in the next weekend.
Then I will spend more time with the Mazda 787B.

Kind Regards

I love delta's, and thats a great job u have done. I have Hasegawa's street version in my cuboard that i brought ages ago. I will get around to it at some point and do a PMan inspired box stock build once i get hold of some decent rims for it and make it as the delta i would like to own.

Greeting job GainsBourg,

I love LANCIA Delta, I have 5 from Hasegawa and I’m still searching another two - ESSO and FINA

Lancia "Super Delta" HF integrale (Acropolis) - REPSOL
Lancia "Super Delta" HF integrale Evoluzione
Lancia "Super Delta" HF integrale WRC - MARTINI
Lancia Delta HF integrale 16v 4WD
Lancia Delta HF integrale 16v 4WD (Sanremo) - MARTINI

I have the same opinion, hasegawa have many parts in metal and gives a very good realistic look.

PS: I have some pic's............:flash:

You did a good job with Seatbelts:sun:

Best Regards

When we love so much a car that was originally released in 1979 is because it is really something special
Even the street version of this car is awesome.
I have decided that I will not wait for you BBCivic to build your red Martini HF Integrale 16V version.
I will buy it ASAP before it disappears.

Flyonthewall, I notice that you have a Lancia 037 Rally in your current projects.
Did you buy it some time ago? I never saw it again

Could you tell me whether ANY of these can be made into a Juha Kankkunen version?
