Combo Build

Hi all. I got my new kits here. Slowly doing. No intention to rush.
The Colt is like a more expensive version of my Megane, but just a bit better. I like the AW a lot. One will be silver, while the other will be white. Which one will be white and silver? I have no idea yet, as I do not have any other colors that looks good on these cars. Yes, Since the are FJMs, the rims are pathetically small. But wait for more progress pics then I can show you all.

All molded in RED !!

If this is not fragile, I don't know what is.

Here are some updates. Body was primed on Friday. Body color is done. I have wetsanded after each coat of paint, and it does look good. After this layer has dried, I will do a final coat then I will use Autosol and Soft99 to polish. I've added small details on the dashboards of both cars. And I found some in-scale carpets for the car. So far no problems at all. And I do hope nothing happens. Oh yeah, the stupid small Honda logo on 3 of 4 wheels has officially came off. I found 2 on my fingers. Darn. But that was the only problem so far. I will add two exhaust mufflers for the Honda since the rear bumper can accommodate it. Hehe. I am still figuring out how, though.  But one thing I cant understand till now is why FJM mold the windows pieces separately, instead of molding it together. But that is the only quip I have about FJM. And those horrible 14" wheels that come with most stock cars. I am going   over those rims. Why cant they be like TMY to manufacture each rim for each car? And the door panels. The are molded into each car's "shell", which makes it look so simple !!

Here are the cars, painted. clearer pics soon. My humblest apologies if you cant see them.

The surprise

FMJ, TMY... WTF!
Neither of these cars are sold in the US market, and your text doesn't really help.

looks like a nice buildup and your picture quality is good as well.
I get a chuckle from Fujimi's choice of tires (p7's).
KUTGW.
lol

Re: Combo Build

Since the Accord Wagon has a huge empty space below the aircon, I've decided to throw in a GPS system.

Its raining now, so I suppose I can only do the decals

Re: Combo Build

Errrr.... too late now I suppose. I wanted to warn you to paint bodies molded in red with anything lighter that red (white or silver). In many cases you get some serious bleed-through after a while that will turn the car pink(isch) and can ruin perfectly build models.

Your build looks OK, but picture quality is way below par! If you post better pictures with more details we can help you with improving your builds. You have talent, but it's hard to judge with those pics.

Cheers

Yeah, I do agree that my pictures are below standards, but my ****** mom keeps the camera all to herself. I have tried to ask her, but she ignores me
