Whats favorite glue?

Hey Guys. I was wondering what your favorite glue was. Some factors are which is the "cleanest" (leaves no overcast on the car) etc. etc.

My favorite plastic glue is Testors Model Glue, the one that comes in the red tube. It creates a much stronger bond than the Tamiya Thin Cement in a bottle I have, because Testors still uses Toulene for the solvent while Tamiya uses less-potent Xylene.

I use testors glue that comes in a black kite shaped container and it has a really tiny tip for easy application. I use it so i don't mess up with my shaky hands.

Same here. Doesn't "string out" like the tube cement does (and is less apt to producing the dreaded fingerprints!), pinpoint applicator tip and a container lasts years and years. IIRC, it's also toluene based.

For resin it's Duro's Superglue in both thin and gel formulas.

5 minute epoxy for attaching metal to anything.

Future and Testor's MM Clear Gloss for photoetched/mirrors/etc...

hth,
Bill

Don't have one, I buy whatever I can afford after buying all my models. I usually use Revell or superglue, Revell is a very good glue if you know how to use it.

I also use Testor red tube glue. Yes it does suck sometimes, and it runs all over the place. BUT it's cheap.

So whenever I can avoid using glue, I rely on the paint to bond parts together.
