Wip:AMT Veilside Supra (lotsa pics)

Hi Guys..i'm new to both af and modelling..done 5 cars already..screwed the 1st car..so this is the 6th car..do forgive me for the Poor pics..Spoiled my digicam so had to use phone cam for the time being..Comments welcome..=)
Oh ya.. Ignore the pokemon sticker on the lamp..Lil Bro pasted it there ages ago..LOL













This kit's windows didn't have the frosted area to guide u.. so had to struggle with that...







Suggestions for which spoiler to use

hmm.. a little update.. the seats in this kit realli look awful.. can't buy seats over here where i'm from.. so.. gotta reuse from old models.. gonna use my skyline seats..



cut 2 holes where the seat belts will be placed..

The kit is made by aoshima but I think it's the same as AMT's f&f supra. Aoshima did this before with the original AMT f&f supra kit. Same tooling, different box. Easy way to tell if it is the same as the AMT kit is to check if it is 1/24 or 1/25. All of aoshima's kits are 1/24 except the supras that they borrowed from AMT. Also not many of aoshima's own kits come with complete engines.

The model is looking great so far! Could we see a pic of the wheels that came with the kit?

hmm..its a aoshima kit.. din pay attention to the box.. saw the f&f spoiler in the box so thought it was a amt kit..lol..rims rims..err.. the photo's not clear so.. ya.. painted the rims flat black.. or maybe gonna change the colour to probably metallic purple if i can...



oh ya... any colour ideas for the body? was thinkin of neon green,neon orange or briht red

Thanks for the shot of the wheels. They look very nice. As for body color, you will have to pick something that will look right with black rims. Some sort of a gunmetal or metallic grey might look nice. If your choices are only neon green, neon orange, or bright red, I would go with bright red. Good luck with the rest of the kit!

hmm... have to seal up the 2 holes where the spoiler tt came with the kit should be placed..and the 2 mold lines on the roof..



my 1st time usin putty..so..had to struggle with it..




came out ok though after lots of sandin..

hmm..dun realli like metallic colours..always get orange peel..bright red's always out of stock.. we shall see when i go get the paints.. if theres no red then i'll go with neon green..=)
