Mazda Rx-7 Savanna

This wil be my next project:

Very old Fujimi kit and like more of them this one is equiped with parts to fit a electro engine on it :S I hate that so most of the parts wil not be used

As you can see I got 2 dashboards and 5 seats :P So there'll be just a few parts I'm gonna use of them

This model can be build in 2 different versions. One with a normal window and one with a thrunk like a Toyota Mr2 etc. I like that last version
The kit also contains 2 different spoilers. One big spoiler and one small spoiler. I'll use the big one

I also searched for some 'timeless'' wheels. I found these 2 sets:

I'm thinking about the 5 spoke wheels....

The rest of the model will be unchainged. I like the sportif looks of the car and I think it I don't have to customize it.

Kris.

Re: Mazda Rx-7 Savanna

if you want timeless, and plenty good looks, go with an open mesh, v, or Y design, you cannot go wrong. or a set of minilites, or r.s. watanabe.

I like the tunnel back deck lid.

I agree, go with the 5-spokes for sure.

Re: Mazda Rx-7 Savanna

New update

First I bought a new camera yesterday.... so I have to learn how it works and that's why the pics are not all sharp

Yesterday I also painted the body and clearcoated it. It was painted with Duplicolour and it looks like a Bourdeaux Red/Brown colour.

First I painted it with red primer:

I also painted the wheels in Motip Chrome:

I'll let this dry for a week before I polish the body.

Kris.

Re: Mazda Rx-7 Savanna

Pff topic on page 6

Finally there is an update of this model

I finished the whole body. I painted all the glasses and painted the windowtrims. Also painted the door/bumper strips and glued the windows to the body.

Again sorry for the blurry pics.

Kris.

Re: Mazda Rx-7 Savanna

Today I completed the interior. I used black and orange for inside.

Only changed the seats for racing seats.
