Talking WIP 360 Cs Blu Notte

It's my first attempt to the matter, next would be the italian red one.
First: my gol: I was impressed by the blue kind:

but.. do you like your country's flag stretched on the car? Mini with the Union Jack's roof a part, I'm not. So I thought to aplly some "muscles" white bands. Looks like from the photoshop work I done it's better to stop bands before bumpers.

So, my attempt:
the body with the SAS TK primered

Sideskirts: I add a piece of styrene inside to made deeph the intake: I saw some great 360 with "toy appeal" intakes: this job would give some realism, however is quetly boring to finishing the inside.
Well we all know the job on the booth spoiler

2 colors threatment on the body shell: I don't shoot every step but it's preatty that:
- some step of Tamy grey primer/putty/primer ecc until I was happy to the result, than I sand it with 1000/2000/3600 grits
- a couple of thin coat of GLOSS ALUMINIUM , after that NO SANDING JOBS
- 3 mist coat with TS50 MICA BLUE, not sanded
- a couple of wet coat with TS51 RACING BLUE, I sand after the first hand with 200/3600 grit and wait 24hr before spray the 2nd hand.

I wish to see something of the mica trough the racing blue and.. it's! Yes, it's depend from the illumination but I'm quetly happy.

so I'm waiting several days to polish all, apply white decals, and then some works for my preferred topcoat, the TS13

Yes: isn't wet look just now but it could be better after polishing/ clearcoating/ polishing (yest I'm stupid but I just like polish 2 time, to give a smooth surface to decals)

Until I waiting the paint drying I done something on the seat:
before all these're the buckets I want to reply:

1- I cast a copy of the '01 scooby seat, cut it with a PE saw, reshape it, fill the junctions and scribe new junctions with the PE saw and a file:

then I add the well-cushined edge with a little roll of milliput (some of you're able to cook italians "GNOCCHI" ?)

Here you could see the seat ready for casting (as said I wand 2 CS, also the red kind) and the mesh, casted inside male/female molds, after that I cut out headlight sides due to the fact I'll like to use plastic kit one, like in 360spider thread (ex)

thanks to all for reply in advance: any criticism is well accepted
next with decals and engine

Wow, very impressive. You and 360spider are competing for the no.1 360 stradale on the board. Nice to see you work the rear grill.

And the color. something different again. But sorry, nothing works better on this car than the stradale "italian" stripes.

Beautiful. There was one in the same color (sans stripes) at our local dealership last year...dunno if it's still there or not.

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

Very nice!

Love the grill! About half of the CS's I've seen don't wear the stripes.
Nice PS work too!

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

I'm wondering why you didn't simply use a transkit to get the CS look. Any real reason?

Re: 360 Cs Blu Notte

Well then, I've been trumped. The rear hatch doesn't look like the one I got when I used the kit, which had me suspect. Good job incorporating it; I didn't do half as good a job with the front end, I'm afraid.

Keeping tabs on this thread to see how it turns out.

Oh! Isn't this the curbside version?

Great job Gio! I love that colour mix

Can we have some "in focus" shots of that pile of kits in the background?
